This Privacy Policy describes how Kmon Climb Club collects, uses, and protects the personal information of app users.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Kmon Climb Club, we may collect the following information:

• Account data: name, email address, and profile photo provided via Google login.
• User-generated content: reviews, photos, lists, check-ins, and comments you post in the app.
• Location data: approximate geographic position, collected only with your explicit permission, to calculate distances to climbing locations.
• Usage data: interactions with the app (favorites, visits, helpful votes, followers/following).
• Technical data: device type and operating system, collected anonymously for diagnostic purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve app features.
• Display your public profile (name, photo, reviews, public lists).
• Calculate distances and sort nearby locations.
• Send notifications related to your activity in the app (when enabled).
• Moderate content reported by other users.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it:

• With service providers operating on our behalf (Supabase for database and storage, Google for authentication and maps), under confidentiality agreements.
• When required by law or competent authorities.
• With your explicit consent.

Your public profile (name, photo, reviews, and lists marked as public) is visible to other app users.

4. Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion. No system is 100% secure — use strong passwords and keep your device protected.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account (available under Settings → Delete account), all your personal data is permanently removed from our servers, including reviews, photos, lists, and visit history.

6. Your Rights

In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct incomplete or incorrect data (via Settings → Edit profile).
• Request deletion of your data (via Settings → Delete account).
• Revoke consent for location data collection at any time in your device settings.

7. Children's Data

Kmon Climb Club is not directed at children under 13. We do not intentionally collect data from children. If we identify that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will close it immediately.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The app does not use cookies. We may use temporary session identifiers to keep you authenticated. These identifiers are stored locally on the device and expire automatically.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you through the app when significant changes are made. Continued use of Kmon Climb Club after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
